HTML <textarea> tag represents multiline input control. Also see the HTML <input> tag that is used to define single line text control.

Note: HTML <textarea> tag is supported in all major web browsers.

Note: Use cols and rows attributes to create fixed size textarea control. You can also use style=”resize: none;” to disable textarea control to draggable.

Tag Specific Attributes Support

Event Attributes Support
