HTML <optgroup> tag represents a group of related options.

The optgroup tag is generally contains a group of related options within dropdown. HTML optgroup tag used along with <option> tag to define options inside dropdown and <select> tag to define dropdown control within web page.

Note: The <optgroup> tag is mostly supported in all major web browsers.
